didn't study in my room the whole day. i didn't do much but oh wow! i'm so much more productive studying out in the living room. instead of a chair... i now have the couch. table? what table... the pillow is so much better. and i've found the best mix of music to study to and it comes in one cd album... the roswell soundtrack! i bought it at the uni records sale many weeks back and i've got say its not bad. it contains one of my all time favourite songs 'here with me' by dido. so ok... a long time ago along with 'lonely planet' and 'the simpsons'... 'roswell' was my favourite tv series. lonely planet would be shown on the discovery channel in the evening at 5.. and at 6 there would be the simpsons on star world... at 7.. i would switch to channel 8 (at the time holland v was showing)..and at 8... i had to go to my room to "study". on thursday nights.. my dad would be somewhere... and my mom at her care group...so i took the opportunity every thursday evening to sneak into the tv area to catch roswell. the first time i did this... episode 1 of roswell had just started and i was blown away by the music and the story line.. woah! so yeah... whenever i get the chance to watch lonely planet (now called globe trekker), the simpsons or roswell here... you can be sure that i'll give the same remark.. "oh! i've watched this already!" but you know.. i can never get bored of lonely planet... ian wright is just too funny to miss.. he has the greatest job in the world and probably the most colourful passport! which i so wish to have one day. i want to go to places..i want to travel... but its difficult to be able to do that full-time..sigh. it doesn't pay cash to travel all around the world.. the only thing that i would gain richly would be the experiences and many photographs... and that's probably too much to value... it would be priceless. still... i would need the money to do all these things.. so there's no where i can really go... except stay in singapore and walk to ma lai xi ya! as i told michelle tonight... no.1 on my list is antartica.. and to me that seems like the hardest destination to reach. i was watching a documentary on antartica a few hours back... the irony is that i'm so far down south and yet antartica seems like a lifetime away. not many people visit antartica... seriously not many... in fact it just seems like a place on another planet... hmmm maybe that's why it draws me so... i'm curious and i would like so very much to go there.. to see it all! to be the very few to step onto this huge mass of ice. actually i want to do more than take one step.. i want to photograph the continent if i could. haha.. ah well... these are just but dreams... whether they come true or not... let the LORD decide afterall he determines my steps.
